Absolutely! I suggest you put wedding bells, heart, or dove to the side of the address like this label is with the rose:

I wanted to use clear sticky labels for my invitation envelopes but my family and friends said that is a big no no in etiquette. So I have to hand write them all or have someone with nice writing help me.

PERFECTLY fine to use them!

I used them for my invitations, and there was no problem with them. I made sure I used the clear mailing labels.

A word of advice, place the return address on the RSVP as well since sometimes people don't put their names or the return address on RSVP cards (I'm speaking from experience here!).

So go ahead and use them. I feel it is a LOT better to use them, mainly because there should be NO WAY the post office will misread PRINTED mailing labels!

I am using clear address labels. They say that it is suppose to be more personal. But hey, my hand hurting writing all of those invites is not personal. My handwriting would be sloppy by the time I got to the last 20 or 30.
It will be just fine to use labels.

If you are really in a pinch, I suppose that may do. In my opinion, a better thing to do if you can't handwrite them is to take all envelopes to a stationary shop and have them either do calligraphy or computer-printed addresses on everything (both to/from on invitation, response, etc.) so that all items match. Never, ever be uncoordinated!

Do not use labels its a no no. Hand write them out!
Yes it might hurt your hand. I wrote out about 10-20 a night which did help. I had 150 to do.
It will look better then the sticky labels.

I think using the labels is fine. Who cares if they're clear or not. You'll save yourself a couple of days and your hand wont hurt. I personally am going to just print them out on my computer...some call it lazy I call it saving time

I don't find anything wrong with using them as people say they are tacky to me they are not. I use lables, white and clear all the time. We planned on using the clear labels ourselves for our invitatios.

My initial reaction is NO. Tacky, tacky, tacky! My god do not use sticky labels on your invitations. YES it does get noticed. Take the time to hand write the invites. You are inviting these people to share the biggest moment of your life-respect them enough and at least show the courtesy of hand writing the invitations. There is this wonderful thing that is so often forgotten-it's called etiquette.

If you enter the dimensions of your envelope before you print, your printer should align perfectly. Choose "custom size" and enter in the length and width. It will look much more elegant that stickers.
