Al Gore is in it for the money. If this could have been strictly a scientific debate from the beginning, it could (and most likely would) be closer to being resolved. Many of the people who stand to lose anything from the GW hysteria are on the opposite side of the road when it comes to politics. Think about it, his company takes off and get government grants to develop alternative fuels, big oil companies get hurt. That leads more people to choose the skeptic side of this debate.

By his puffery on this subject, he has pushed away potential believers and supporters. He should have stepped back and let the scientists start this process. Then this could be further along, proof or disproof of GW.

Of course not.

He's basically an entertainer. He has little scientific training, and he's never done scientific research.

Which is why what he does or doesn't do, what he says or doesn't say; has absolutely no effect on the solid science that proves global warming is real, and mostly caused by us.

He does have some talent for reading science and then making it more understandable to non-scientists.

Al Gore is a professional con artist. Global Warming has been happening for the past 10,000 years. The glaciers used to cover New York and London. The glaciers retreated 2,000 miles and the oceans rose hundreds of feet long before humans became industrialized.

Al Gore is planning to make lots and lots of money by tricking people into making 'carbon offset' payments to his investment corporation. He wants to guilt-trip us into giving his investment group our money. But he clearly does not believe his own BS. Look how wasteful he is!!

no way he isn't. he is infact, a hoax himself. If he is so passionate at wanting to do something to stop global warming, how come the amount of electricity used in his house and the amount of Carbon fumes in his house was one of the highest they had found in America?
