This is just an alarmist view. This will never happen.

No one knows.
Its like predicting how long a piece of string is. We can only predict what could happen by our past research and past analysis of factual information about the planet. Miami could be underwater in 10 years or 496 years, we can't really say. All i know is that scientists think if all of Greenland or the Western half of Antarctica was to melt, the sea would raise 20 feet. And by putting that into the mix of facts and predictions we have gathered together over the years the answer is still unknown.

If the cycles hold true, probably about twenty five million years from now, this ice age will end. We are merely in an interglacial period right now which will probably end sometime between now and 5000 years from now. The glaciers will return and sea levels will fall by hundreds of feet, it is just a matter of when. Just think 15,000 years ago the outer banks were an island.

With the rate that the arctic ice is melting, I would say 50-70 years. This will eventually happen, the ocean levels are risiong rapidly already.
