I've noticed on Microsoft's website that Office Professional 2007 will work on computers with XP, but I was wondering if anyone with personal experience can give me an idea of how it works.

It works seamlessly.. I have been using it from quite some time and I like it a lot. No problems faced yet with this.

Office 2007 does the same 'ol same 'ol, just more of it and it will require getting used to the 'ribbon.' Unless you need it, stick with Office 2003. If you want it, here is some information on it:

Office 2007 runs great on XP.....

as with any other software it can be slow due to how big it is and the config of some pcs but it worksgreat on mine at home and work...
