My friends know though and he used to be one of my friends. He's really sensitive all of a sudden. We also have trouble talking. It's bugging me and it's pointless and tiring all the time to talk and not get a response. please give me advice, because I DO love him.

Some thing is bugging him.
Moody ( and they say women are !!! )
You mimic him for a while see how he likes it... he will be glad to get the old happy joke cracking you back.
( the jokes aren't about him or insulting him in any way are they. ! cuz if they are its not funny being the butt of some ones jokes all the time )

If you are making him the butt of your jokes or joking about him in front of your friends, then maybe you need to stop. If this is not the problem, then maybe he is having problems you aren't aware of such as depression.

stop jokeing around so much. maybe he wants things to be serious. maybe he thinks your relationship is just a joke to you. be more serious about it and maybe things will get better.

men do that - they go all moody and senitive then they go back to being laughy and jokey all the time.
give him a while and he'll get over it
