Yes!!! Especially if they announce that you are opening your present and everyone stops to look. Then you are left with that awkward look on your face.

Not generally with Christmas presents, at least not if it's in a setting where everyone is giving-receiving gifts. But I do feel uncomfortable opening gifts in front of others when it's not an exchange - like on a birthday.

Not with my family, but I do with people I don't know super well because there's always the chance they've gotten you something you don't like, and then you have to make that fake happy, I love it face.

so i open it! screw it ! they want to see my reaction!
got one this morning ! most thoughtfull!
it was a bag! a mess wine bag that was on her desk a month back i told her i was going to steal it! lol
she gave it to me!
she is soo sweet!
