Re-installed vista help!?

Question

I just bought a new gateway mt3423 laptop with Windows Vista.

long story short i didnt like vista tried to downgrade to xp, couldnt find compatable drivers and wound up reinstalling vista.

now whenever i try to open up my games like solitaire or minesweeper etc. I get a message telling me im in software rendering mode, and i either don't have hardware acceleration enabled, or my video card doesn't support this feature.

Anyone know a way to fix this WITHOUT buying a new restart disk from gateway.

any ideas about where i can find them?

Can you do a system restore to a date before you uninstalled Vista?

I easily have vista and that i had the comparable top undertaking, I had reinstalled vista and it did do away with the virus. in basic terms undergo in techniques in case you are trying this it is sort of confusing and you will loose each little thing on your laptop( records ) in basic terms remember to reinstall all your drivers and utilities employing the living house windows vista installation discs. good luck i wish thia helps
