Well a comment to Thomas V...Well...You think that hell is going to be a place for parties and for the "cool" people to be at?? Well thats where you are mistaken. There will be no parties and certainly no one is going to be thinking about popularity there. How hot is hell ?? Well the hottest flame is a clear flame that the human eye can't see. The Orange and Blue flames don't even come in to comparison with the clear flames. The Bible says there will be gnashing of teeth....How can anyone have fun while on fire...Heaven is going to be Wonderful. Streets of Gold and Mansions.

I believe that Heaven will satisfy every desire you could ever have. It will be a place for rejoicing and worshipping the one that gave us the opportunity to experience it. We will be with our loved ones again and will no longer be sick or afraid. Everything will be provided. Will will no longer hunger or thirst. We will be perfect and so will Heaven.
I believe that Hell is a place of eternal regret. We as humans can't fathom how long eternity is.....but think about it...you are there in constant torment and it will NEVER end. I've been told to compare it to placing your hand over a fire and see how long you can hold it there. A few seconds right? Imagine being covered in the flames with no way out.
Alot of people say how is is that God could allow anyone to go to Hell if he is an all loving God. He loves us enough that He gave his only son so that we would be forgiven if we chose to live for Him. But in the end it is our choice. He gives us that. He is forever standing there with His arms wide open, but whether or not you choose to accept the gift is on your own shoulders.

I love these questions.
Nobody really knows, but what we're led to believe is that Heaven is supposed to be paradise, where as Hell is supposed to be the exact opposite of Heaven.
But put it into perspective... one person's Heaven may be another person's Hell.
For instance, if I died and went to Heaven, only to discover that it was full of people singing praises, floating around, playing golf on the clouds, drinking tea, and so on, I would be horrified. To me, that would be Hell.
Heaven, to me, is a place filled with video games, martial arts, super powers, good guys kicking bad guys butts, attractive goth girls, fishnet shirts and leather trenchcoats.
Oh, and heavy metal.
Guaranteed, your average door-to-door Jehovah's Witness has a VERY different idea of what Heaven is like.

Who knows anyway. I haven't known anyone who has been to either place and been back to talk about it. So lets not make our assumptions. Watch when you die your Heaven will be an eternity of bingo night at the church. Your bingo dobbers will never run dry. Then my Hell will be a club with bumpin music and hot chicks on the dance floor. I guess we will have to see.

Well, i definitely don't know from experience because i haven't personally visited either. But the Bible says:
In heaven, there will be: No power shortages, for God is all powerful; no bumping into things in the dark; no sleepless nights (there is no night in heaven, Revelation 21:25) Nor will there be: Bills; hospitals; bank accounts. In fact, heaven will have: No complaints; no back-talk; no hate; no fear; no crime.
Heaven will have a beauty beyond our imagination. The best John could do to describe heaven was to say it was like an entire city of transparent gold. He says: The walls of the new city are precious jewels. The gates are twelve single pearls. The city itself and its streets are pure gold, yet like transparent glass. This is found in Revelation 21:18, 19, 21.
And the whole city is lighted by the glory of God. Heaven is a place of matchless blessings. Jesus has prepared a mansion for us there. Great treasure is stored up for us; in fact, the saints "will inherit all things" (Revelation 21:7). The leaves of the tree of life will guarantee our health. and the crystal pure water of the river of life will flow from the throne of God to the tree of eternal life. For the first time since the Garden of Eden, God's children may eat out of this tree in His paradise (Genesis 3:22 and Revelation 2:7).
In heaven we will be given new names, new imperishable bodies. and we will be clothed in the white robes of righteousness. We will be glorious living stones; pillars in the eternal temple of God (I Corinthians 15:52; 1 Peter 2:5; Revelation 3:12).
Best of all, heaven with God and Jesus will be a place of love. God in tender love will wipe away all our tears (Revelation 21:4). The angels will rejoice as heaven fills with righteous Christians (II Peter 3:13). Those spirits who have hungered and have thirsted to humbly live with God; those with pure hearts; those who have willingly endured persecution; and those who have lived for God's peace, will live together in life and love forever and ever.
And Hell is a place of fire. The man in Luke 16:24 cries: ". . .I am tormented in this FLAME."
In Matthew 13:42, Jesus says: "And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting FIRE,. . ."
Revelation 20:15 says, " And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE."

Hell is not "hot." Neither heaven nor hell are actually places. They are eternities spent in the presence of the lack of presence of God. We think of heaven and hell as places because our human minds have an easier time understanding these concepts as such.

No one knows for sure but God, but I believe Heaven is beautiful because we can finally be close to God, and that hell isn't necessarily "hot", but that you will be without the Love of God, and therefore it would be intolerable, even for atheists, because they would finally know that He is real.
