I mean doesn't Jesus say be no part of this world. You can't do that and be governing it.

You are so right.
John 17:16 says: They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.

Um, would you care to give the name of the bishop(s) that are currently serving in the House of Commons?

I do not see any in the list:

Christian clergy were disqualified from being Members up until 2001 when that ban was repealled. This was done because no such ban was in place for leaders of any other religion.

Meanwhile in the Lords there are 26 bishops:

as part of the 618 total members:

Remember, in Britain there is no separation of the Church and State.

This is Her Majesty's government, and sits at her pleasure*. the motto of the monarchy is Deiu et Mon Droit, God and my right. I.e. she is there because God said so.

It has always been an irony to me that Britain, where the church and the state are nominally under the same monarch, manages to be far more secular and care a lot less about the religious affiliation of it's leaders than the USA, where we are supposed to have separation of church and state. Just look at the 'what religion is Obama' fiasco going on right now. - WHO CARES - isn't it more important to worry about his political policies rather than if and where he goes to worship?

* In reality, if the monarch tried to dictate what Parliament did, it would take Parliament about 10 minutes to remove the monarch from power. There is an understanding there that Parliament lets the monarch have the power as long as they do what Parliament says to do. It's a British thing, like cricket. Don't try to make sense of it.

There is no bishops in the house of commons. They sit in house of lords.

We in Britain do not have a separate state from church, we even pay for the churches and clergy out of our taxes.
