of Scientology, Christian Science, Mormonism, etc., but we have only a one-sided picture of Jesus. It doesn't seem fair, does it? (Noone should claim that Jesus had no faults since it is impossible to prove, and makes no sense anyway.)

Scientology, Christian Science, Mormonism, are all modern religions, if they survive in 1000 years those writings on faults will die out, with the possible acception of Scientology. Afterall L ron hubbard had said he was starting it on a bet to prove he could make up a philosophy/religion and people would follow it.

You also seem to forget the integral difference between Jesus and the founders of the religions you list here. None of the ones you list here are considered to be God by their followers.

No religion that has it's founder as God has a list of their faults: give me Buddha (Siddhārtha Gautama) faults. Or even those that consider thier founders great give me Master Kungs faults (Confucius) or Lao Tzu (Taoism) or Abrahams for that matter.

Really it is common sense why it is thought no faults, pretty easy to figure out. So you are the one that appears to make no sense.

It's an interesting question. Since Jesus was both totally God and totally human, he should have had some faults, but God has none. Jesus, like Mary, has always been without sin and that's where the faults would lie. Of course it doesn't "make sense"; that's where faith comes in.

Jesus had No faults. He didn't sin. So yeah it's easy to prove since Jesus wasn't a sinner. (Comment to Under) : If you are referring to when Jesus drove the people out of the tabernacle with a whip because they were selling in there, then No he did what was right. And do we really have any room to talk about handling situations better when people get upset over spilt Milk..Come on.

It only makes no sense for Him to have no faults if you do not believe the He is who He says He is. He is God incarnate and had no faults. He was without sin. But, I guess that depends on who you're asking. I bet the Pharisees, the Saduccees and the Romans all found fault with Him or He would not have been sent to the cross.

He didn't have any faults. He HAD to be sinless in order to pay the price for OUR sins. That was the whole point of sacrificing lambs that were "perfect, without blemish", because they were forerunners to Christ, who was also perfect and without blemish. Jesus was the only person on Earth who never sinned.
