Jacquin's is the antithesis of quality. I just moved out to Pennsylvania and it's all they have around here, so I bought some of their liqueurs. Every single one of them seems to have had about a quart of sugar syrup added to it. Any amount of money would be too much to pay for that.
In general for any liqueur, Marie Brizard is going to be the best available, but it can be hard to find, especially in America. If you can't find Brizard, he best thing you're going to have a shot at for blackberry brandy would be Hiram Walker.

Hiram Walker Blackberry Brandy is probably the best out there now. Due to some retailers who carry it doing their corporate stupidity, it can be hard to acquire regularly so it's a good idea to let your phone do the walking instead of your car or truck. CVS pharmacy carried it up until recently. Vons (Safeway) markets carried it too. Both have been on again off again retailers and are not dependable. BevMo carries it, but they are a way too high high-dollar store for everything they carry. Still produced at the Walker distillery in Ontario, Canada, the Walker company has gone through several owners since 1926 and is now part of Pernod Ricard (France). The product is still quite excellent. Check around your local stores and you're sure to find it eventually.

I like LeRoux's. I think that is how its spelled, I haven't had it since I was underage.
I used to sneak it out of my parent's liquor cabinet.
But I'm over 21 now, and I like Zambuca as a hard liquor.

Jaquins, not expensive but good quality. Christian Bros. is my fav. in brandy, not sure if the do a blackberry?
