Oh, Snowy! Every, single time those turkeys get near your tree, just back up to them and raise your tail into flag position, knead your back legs just so to true your aim, and spray the daylights out of their legs. Repeat each time they try again. Don't worry, Snowy, they'll learn.

Well Snowy, as I am merely a human, I can only tell you what my ingenious cat Toby did to us that worked, and yes, while we humans are slow, a patient cat can eventually train their humans to behave properly and respect a cat's property. Toby actually took up residence in his Christmas tree. He slept on the branches - the better to observe anyone attempting to come within close proximity of his tree. When an intruder approached - Toby would leap out of the tree hissing and attack the trespasser. This not only taught us, the humans residing in Toby's house - but also all additional humans who happened to stop by during the holiday season, as well as those pesky canines who may stay in your house also. Good Luck and Best Wishes.

You can't - they think it's theirs and they're stronger than you.
Take some revenge instead.
Lick the butter in the dish when they're not there, drink their bedside water, leave fur and bits of rubble all over the clean washing and shred a toilet roll - and a kitchen roll as well to really wind them up.
