God called Gideon a mighty man of valor while he was hiding from the Midianites. Does God see something in you that you do not see yourself?

bregweidd, Agnostic means that you don't know what to believe. I think it would have been a more honest answer if you left it at that.
Suppose there were a God. What would he think of you?

Behonest, what would it take for you to start seeing yourself the same way God sees you? We don't have to be good enough to deserve the love and freedom. Our price was paid.

Definitely differently than I see myself. I tend to see the "old man" side of myself more than the "new creature" side. I am sure that when God looks down upon me, He sees a pure child of God that has been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. I see an evil little imp that will never be good enough to deserve the love and freedom He has so generously given to me. Like I said, I have a tendency to be pretty hard on myself.

Three of Three:
God sees me as God created me - every particle of my being is 'God stuff', my spirit, my soul (mind, will, emotions to some and to others my conscious and sub and super consciousness) and my body, all are Godstuff. Now, words here really can't do this Q justice. God sees me and is well-pleased. Not by my earthly walk, but just because I am God's own. God constantly draws me nearer to the Truth of my Being - and as Jesus put it, "The Father and I are one" I've got a handle on the hem of this garment of awareness and it is astoundingly magnificent for and to me.
I am constantly amazed by what is drawn forth from within this 'person' (me) by God. I am grateful that God 'sees' stuff in me I'm blind to, but I get to become aware of over time. Life never gets old or boring that way. Just another one of those perks I get. I wouldn't be where I am in life today were it not for the fact that 'God sees something in me that I do not see in myself'.
I hesitate to use the three letter term here (God) because it can be construed to mean many things to many people, and to me cannot even begin to describe the One Power & Presence at work in my life and the universe. God the Good Omnipotent. But God knows what's going on here, far more than I. And I rest comfortably in that 'unknown of God'. And that used to scare me, but now it is my sanctuary.
God sees me quite clearly, I believe.

Wow.
My heart fills with amazed humbleness when I think that He sees me, and everything I do, through Jesus. All my sins are paid for. And my righteous acts (which before Jesus saved me from my sins--looked like dirty rags) are made white as snow. What a beautiful miracle!
All I can do is bow before Him in awe and incredibility at how He could love someone like me.
He has done wonderful things in my life! I have been honored to be His loving servant. I only wish everyone knew the peace and the amazing love that I feel because of How my dear Lord God sees me through Jesus His Son.

God sees us as His beautiful creations. If we are "Saved For Real" then He sees Jesus Christ.
? #2. To speak the word of God over ourselves. Say what God says about us.You can never go wrong with speaking God's word over yourself.
Start speaking to yourself In the mirror. Give yourself a good reminder of Who you really belong to. If it's God then speak the word !

definitely!!! It became into something extra formal, yet I used to speak to Him in spite of the rationalization and because I stored forward to my very own ambition and needs, whilst He gave me avertisements I stored none and did my way going into further and further trubles! Into an end, interior of a deep depresion, He stored my existence (!!!) the very 2nd I left away of all my deep needs... There, empty heart, i became into crammed with God's mild and Peace and Love - an entire New existence, a sparkling physique, a sparkling imaginative and prescient over the final and the destiny :) :) :) sure, he's my Saviour!!!

He sees me the same way He does Jesus Christ, as an anointed king, for God is no respector of people. What He has done for Christ, He will also do for every born again and Holy Spirit filled believer in Christ, for we are One in Jesus and whatever belongs to Him also belongs to true Christians.

God sees me as His loyal and faithful servant. God sees so much in me that I never saw in myself, but I do now. God wants all of us to know He is God, and that we are not, but we are to know who we are in Jesus Christ, and that by being born again, we have been given the gift of salvation, and the ability to overcome all sin by obeying as Jesus obeyed the Father. WE have the Holy Spirit to empower us to lead us to all God calls us to, to be overcomers of a new nature of Christ. I see myself in victory as God sees me in victory. WE all can have it if we will only love God, know who He is, and who we are in Christ Jesus, and then live the way God calls us to live. Obedience leads to blessing still today, and disobedience still leads to curse. Just how it is folks.
PPL dont always want to hear that. as its not an itchy ear message, but its the truths of God.
GOd sees me on the right path, the straight and narrow gate which leads only to Him and to kingdom living right here and now, as I head towards the next Kingdom in Heaven
I am no more than anyone else, or less than anyone else.
But, we are all called By God. Only a few will answer the full call to Love and OBEY. But when we do, God will call us HIS and get us thru anything that lay ahead, that no weapon formed against us will prosper.
WIth God all things are possible.
We must hold fast to the promies of God, and to know Jesus is coming soon.
WE press on to victory as overcomer becuase of God, the blood of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit which was given to EMPOWER US.
God calls it all good, and I am in agreement with Him. I am not so special. WE all have the promise of this gift, but only a few will accept that gift .
When we are Gods, He calls us His, what a better place to be.
God lvoes us all the same, even those that wont love or obey Him. BUt, to be saved, one must give their full heart to God, just like HE gave us all of His heart.
Jesus didnt half way die for us. WE are to give our all as He gives His all.
perfect obedience and love, because we love HIm and He loves us.
Gift is free, but holding on is surely conditional...
