In my not so humble opinion, Pig Swiss are the best. I have been skating them for about a year and they require less maintainance than other bearings. For the money, Bones Reds are good. They are inexpensive and long-lasting. They are good if you are hard on bearings, or don't do maintenance; because of their low cost. Ceramic bearings are good for longboard applications. They are resistant to heat and operate with low lubricant levels, both characteristics of downhill skating. Ceramic bearings are not recommended for street and technical skating because they can shatter in impact.
The ABEC rating is not necessarily a good guide to the quality of the bearings. It simply is a measure of different tolerences in the bearing. It does not indicate quality, speed or suitability of the bearing for skateboarding. If you notice, most high-end bearings have no ABEC rating, they generally are "skate rated", meaning they are bearings specifically designed for skateboarding.

velocity cream utilized in any respect won't reason rust on your bearings, purely dont use water or the rest to bathe them, additionally you could take off the sheild to get inbetween the ball of the bearings and get a marvelous sparkling. for decks there is fairly one diffrence between all manufacturers, and thats the concave. the concave of the boards relies upon on the skater, deeper concave supplies extra pop yet some skaters dont like it and locate it extra challenging to skate with, maximum boards comprise medium length concave. i journey a DGK 7.seventy 5 ( i could get a length 8 ) yet i admire the deeper concave. all boards are made with 7 plys and a few have thinner plys and a few have thicker, some have carbon fiber, etc. do no longer fall for the " superlights" there is no diffrence. Now the griptape is a super deal for many skaters, MOB is customary for its super like grip, yet be warned it fairly is going to rip a hollow on your footwear in a short volume of time.

get the ones that the skateshop gives you with a complete... you're just gonna beat them to hell anyway, and how fast do you really need to go?
i think wheels make a bigger difference. big wheels go faster and hold speed longer, small wheels accelerate faster (and slowing down faster), but have a lower top speed.

Bearings are bearings. They are all made to the same standards. There is no "best" only more $$ to make you think so.
