why do Christians think that because of sin they can not make it into heaven without the cross?

it is all about puting the evil one under your feet, and learning to walk Like Jesus, TO BECOME PERFECT. FOR EXAMPLE.

a man sins till he is 30, God perfects him on earth because man surrendered all unto God, his mind, his life to follow the path of righteousness. So if man lived(or taken) till 120 or even 1000 he never sinned again. For he walks with the knowlage and heart of God. So for 90 yrs or million yrs he never sinned again and sin was defeated, and God gave him the glory of heaven for he is among the righteous.

Now the purpose of the cross is, you keep sinning and Jesus was sent to die for you. You never BECAME perfect, but became perfect with Christs BLOOD. So you sin all your life never worthy of heaven, but Gods grace was sent to set you free. GOD HATES sin.I am sure he does not want sin in your life if he truely love's you and must have a way to "truly" purge the sin out of you, without anyone getting hurt? Yes I mean his son Jesus.for he was nailed to a cross to free U.

Christians for some reason(not all) forget about Jesus and only think for themselfs.

notice the word "become" perfect, chipp(???). You talk about one who walks on his own, trying to be perfect. I talk about God(the one who says all things are possible) leads your life away from sin, and delievers you from the evil one. (perfection) Lords prayer.....

How about a short one? If there were a way to do what Jesus did without the Cross, do you think for one moment that he would not have taken it? Since he did go to the Cross, perhaps there was no other way.

It is physically impossible to sin. The Bible states that the mind is strong but the flesh is weak, which is very true. Have you ever seen something you wanted? Have you ever gorged yourself with food? These are sins. Have you ever looked at someone in a lustful manner? Etc etc. I am a Christian, yet I am a sinner and will always be a sinner. It is choice and human nature. I try my best, however I will always sin.

what do you mean by a man sins till he is 30. you're not talking about Jesus are you? if so, you are very confused. 30 is just that age when Jesus started his ministry, not when he gave his life to God. when he was a young boy, joseph and mary couldn't find him and became worried. they found him with a large group of elders and he was teaching and quoting scriptures to them. the bible says they were (i'm paraphrasing) amazed and his knowledge of the scriptures.

Jesus never said carry a cross, no engraved images is the right way about it, Jesus said that the road to heaven is narrow and their are only a thew on it, most will not go to heaven, I think you have to burn in hell and ask for forgiveness and Jesus will save you..

You've missed the point of grace being a free gift, and our salvation thru faith , huh? Add this in to your equations. If you think you can get to heaven an easy way, study the scripture. Christ tells us it is not easy.

No one can be perfect, no one can be as sinless as Christ. The point is that we should try, and thereby become a little closer to that perfection, and help others while we're at it. We are never going to be perfect, we are not expected to be.

romans 6 said, the POWER of SIN is DEAD, yet the soul and body craves it, we will have warfare with our spirit man and flesh man..the soul man follow whoever is stronger than the other.the grace of GOD empower us..to conquer bad habit and thinking..words are seeds of our past, present and future, GOD create, so LET create united Christians here in USA..and be the lighthouse of the WORLD.
so the world body of Christ shall be UNITED and in all of this..THEN satn is truly hinder..bound like a strongman is bound and we take by our stuff..the world..the wicked men wealth to preahthe gospel by TV ..private planes transporting our servants of Christ..saving millions!
