Well, It may or not be real. The historical Jesus is hard to establish outside the Xian Bible. As for the Resurrection and Ascension these are matters of faith and faith cannot be proven or disproved by fact, it is faith. The tomb featured on Discovery channel is not proof of his life or disproof of a his Resurrection. The names of Jesus, Joseph, Mary, and Judas where too common to say authoritatively this is the grave of the persons referred to in the Xian Bible. If it is the tomb of the historical man Jesus, we should remember that the account of the physical Resurrection and Ascension where not recorded till years after is death. Many of these fantastic story could have developed as myth and legends that explaining something timeless about the person. Much like the story of Gorge Washington and the cherry tree tells of his honesty. I am personally looking forward to reading more about this find, but I am skeptical of any Holy Land finds. Look at what happen with the James Ostuary - most likely a fake.

First of all, stop reading the Bible at least for now.
Second, If God wanted to get you I'm sure He's got plenty on you already. You need to regain your inner peace and not do things -- anything, incl reading the Bible -- that disturbs it.
You know that it isn't God that's doing this. St Ignatius of Loyola, who made a study of things like this, would say it's got demon written all over it. When you start thinking like this, stare over the shoulders of the thoughts, don't argue with the thoughts, just ask God for help. St John of the Cross says that God is often closest when things are as you described. I think he says something like when you stare directly at the sun you feel like you are blind, but it is the excess of light not the lack of light that is producing this.
Finally, I wish I knew whether you were Catholic or Orthodox or what, because I would really recommend you get under some other person's authority. All of tradition is against a person being their own spiritual director.

Soon, the world will be in fire.
Now we have learned from the Bible that the Rapture of the true believers of Jesus Christ will occur on May 21, 2011 AD, which will be five months before the end of the world on October 21, 2011 AD

"And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man." (Revelation 9:5)

The Bible is a Book that is absolutely true and trustworthy. It is the centerpiece, the keystone of this study.

maybee christianity is not the religion for you. are you following because you really want to? or are you following because you think it 'is right', as others have told you so. That is one of many reasons why christianity did not work for me. the bible did not make sense. judgemental. too many loopholes. too many different ways to take the same verse and stuff like that. I felt a million times better when I stopped telling myself to believe in something that is not real to me. not trying to talk you into leaving. just giving some different thoughts. at least just take a break from your studies and spend some time in prayer. just take it easy. get out. enjoy life. you need to make these decisions on your own. dont let others preach at you and try to bring you down. the decisions you make are only important to you and no one else.

When you open His word and read, you feel weak because the Holy Spirit is convicting you. That's a GOOD thing. It is confirmation first, that the Holy Spirit is alive and dwelling within you, and secondly, that the Lord is trying to draw you closer to Him!
Don't give up! Look at those "presumed" negative feelings and see them from another point of view.

God would Never want you to feel that way, he loves you. In expression of his love, Jehovah provides discipline for his people. (Pr 3:11, 12). What Jehovah may permit to come upon his servants in the form of persecution can serve as discipline, or training, producing the desirable fruit of righteousness, to be enjoyed in peace after the trial is over. (Heb 12:4-11) Even the Son of God was equipped to be a compassionate and sympathetic high priest by reason of the suffering that his Father allowed him to undergo.—Heb 4:15.
By contrast, acceptance of discipline, coupled with a wholesome fear of Jehovah, makes one wise, able to use knowledge aright, and thus helps one to avoid much pain and suffering. When acted upon, discipline received appreciatively can contribute to a lengthening of one’s present life and holds promise of an abiding future. Rightly, then, discipline should be highly esteemed.—Pr 8:10, 33-35; 10:17.

The things that contribute to true happiness are knowledge of Jehovah, wisdom from him, and even his correction and discipline. (Pr 2:6; 3:13, 18; Ps 94:12) The truly happy person trusts in Jehovah (Pr 16:20), delights in and walks in His law (Ps 1:1, 2; 112:1), observes justice (Ps 106:3), and fears God (Ps 128:1).

Instruction can, however, involve discipline in the form of chastisement. Such discipline is not always easy to take, but when one responds to it, it will yield “peaceable fruit, namely, righteousness.”—Heb 12:7-11.

Repent and turn back to God. He knows we are but dust. He knows we fail and sin, even after coming to Him. We must do our best and lean on Him for strength, and if we do fail, we simply confess and repent and try again.

Jesus loves you!
