and what would you consider a blokey drink for a woman?
This is not a serious male/female sexist type question and I know that drinks are not gender specific before anyone gets all PC on me..... just a general festive type question x

Lipscomb216, were you having a bad day? What's wrong with the word Bloke? It's a normal every day word and I am from the East End so I'm not a Mockney!

Pink (or any fruit color) = girly
Brown - blokey (exception - liquers like Kahlua or Ameretto)
White wine or Light beer - girly
The important point is that a girl drinking a manly drink is sexy, but a bloke drinking a girly drink is just girly.

Let me see a cosmopolitan for the girly drink for a Lad.
Lets say a Scotch Neat blokey drink for a lady.
It is funny how many guys think that fruit drinks or colored drinks are girly if they only knew how much alcohol is in some of those drinks they would be like yeah get me a blue hawaiian or an electric koolaid they may be fruity but they will put you on your *** faster than any beer will. Especially that US water beer.
If you hadn't guessed I'm Canadian.

I drink what I feel like, no matter whether others approve or not. Gender specificity, political correctness, etc, do not enter into my choices. I once went to a bar with an alcoholic female friend, who had been on the wagon, and wanted to test herself. She ordered non-alcoholic girlie drinks. To show support for her, I drank what she drank. The bar tenders, and other patrons, gave me strange looks, and may have thought me gay, but I did not mind. My friend went the night without drinking booze, and was satisfied, and stayed out of bars ever afterwards. She appreciated my support. I suppose a 'blokey' drink may be something like a single malt scotch on the rocks...and I know plenty of women who drink such. It pays to be an individual...though manufacturers, and advertisers, don't think so.

No drinks are too girly or masculine for a the opposite gender to drink, though some guys might be made fun of by their peers for drinking certain sweet pretty looking drinks.

Babysham is a girly drink for a man
Scotch on the rocks is a manly drink for a girl.
Also the only time a man should drink a glass of wine in public is if he is having a meal at the time
