His death as you are seeing it is just the tip of the iceburg. If you could ask satan maybe he'll tell you how damaging the crucifixion of Jesus was.
Like most things.. there is a deeper significance. Many people were crucified but not all were sinless and bore the sins of the entire world.. Dying as the Lamb of God. Did you know that He died in two other statuses as well? Yeah.. He did.. as the Grain of wheat to release His life to us and also as the Brass Serpent ( brass for judgement) and the serpent as a type of the old serpent satan. This status is interesting because as the Brass serpent He judges and deals with the old serpent satan and also with the serpentine poison we got into us because of sin.
But..
This may matter to you .. or it may not. Its always a call to each of us.
Tnx for posting
A CHristian

A question or several. The answer is simple. Thanks for the forum. You have valid points and its understandable the nature of the "WHY" and "What for" of these issues.
A (human) Christian believes in the resurrection of Jesus (son of God- only mortal for 37 years) as the basis for their personal salvation.
The details of the rest are just semantics.
Many people of many denomination's "feel" the details are important, yet that is a personal choice really called Religion.
Yet with the physical facts, its hard to support all the "stories VS. Realities" of the life of Jesus Christ.
It is proven that the "real" Jesus. was born and died in the Springtime. Technically, Christmas is "made up" to honor Christ and Easter isnt' a christian holiday either, both just in the last two hundred years "made to be one" for commerical reasons to promote the commerce and regrowth of the churches. The money trails speks volumes.
Crucifiction was just a "way to die" and used as a symbol with a created definition of the symbolic meaning. It was just a cruel death at the time of Jesus time.
The bible was a "man written" document, based on the witnesses of revelations and one of many was Jesus. A great story, yet again edited to suit the purpose of the reader, speaker or ruler of that moment.
Your impression of these facts or need to be impressed by "others" is difficult to relate too. You either are a Christian or you are not. Either are OKAY! The Facts of Christ are either taken in "blind faith" or " supported" with the logic acceptance of this man. Your choice.
I'm just not going to assume on the judgement of a human by other humans when the "accused" in in the belief they are doing God's work.
If they are in prision for "Crimes" against mankind, then they are punishable by mankind, and their belief in "God or Religion" will work out the details of their lives/death. In other words, Not my problem! That is really hard for me to say.....since we would want all that you love to reach Salvation. Yet in my lifetime I have witnessed "Salvation" in the eyes of Newborns and in the death breath of the man with Aids. I am not the judge or the redeemer, OH Happy day! I'm only a mere mortal, just a human, just a child in many ways.
However Death is not the worst thing that can happen to you, ask a mother with a dying child or a dead one, ask the dying pain filled life of many whom can not find any peace or happiness. Living a good life and practicing your beliefs as you do is its own reward. To many death is a part of that.
With that said, I am okay to die. Physical arrangements are made, and spiritual ones have been a "sealed deal" since I was a child. OH, I'm on ly human- I don't want to leave and miss my children growing up, see all the things that they achieve. I don't mind growing old as long as I am loved.

The Lord Jesus Christ left heaven's glory and came to earth as a man so He could die for the sins of the world. I don't think you know what He went through to take the sins of the world on himself. He is God taking all those sins on himself who knew no sins. If He had not been willing to do that we would all go to hell when we die because we are all sinners. Romans 5: 2 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

are you kidding does he get too much credit, i would gladly apend 40 years in prison as opposed to being beaten continuously, to carry my own cross upon my back to have a crown of thorns rip into my flesh and then stakes driven through my hands and feet, oh and if thats not enough to have a sword charge through my flesh and my blood pour out. Have you not read the bible, or even watched the Passion of Christ, do so, and you'll see without doubt that Jesus definatelly is not given to much credit. It's not like he just took a sleeping pill or something he was tortured to death for me and for you and I am eternally grateful. Jesus Rocks!

I think you fail to understand the testimony of the Word of God that when He was crucified, He was by divine impartation bearing the entire weight of the guilt and punishment for all the sins of Mankind upon Himself.
There is no way to begin to understand what He endured upon the cross. Because Jesus was divine He was able to suffer infinitely upon the cross, being Himself an eternal (no beginning, no end) Spirit.
That is why it says:
"how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? "
and again:
"For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified."

Release Jesus from the lies that are being told about him. He was a man, no more no less. Anything further is mere superstition and people deserve better than be encouraged to beleive in nonsense stories about sacrifice and redemption. A God-man who can answer your prayers but he does it in his own way and only if youré a good boy or girl and honestly beleive in Him!!! sounds like Santa Claus to me. People who care about the truth think beyond dogma and doctrine. Free your minds fundamental Christians. You have your reward.

He was always at His fathers side, physically living on earth as a "human" or not. Could you imagine the pain that He went through on that one day? Beaten beyond recognition, nailed to a cross through His hands and feet? Nobody could say something like this if they had to go through it themselves. Even slightly stepping on a nail hurts like the dickens. Jesus died for our sins...He gave up His physical life and endured extreme pain constantly for that one day so we could enter the kingdom of Heaven. He deserves all the credit in the world for that.

Jesus wasn't crucified so he'd go to heaven. he was crucified as a supreme sacrifice for sinners. so that one day, we might make it to heaven. if you would read a little you would learn that in the old testament, to atone for sins, you would need a sacrifice. there was a number of sacrifices for different reasons, and i'll leave that for you to learn on your own, but there must be a sacrifice, there must be blood to cover your sins. Jesus paid that price, not by imprisonment but by laying down his life for you and me.

When Jesus was crucified, he underwent the most shameful treatment a person could have had in that time and place. But because he was deity, his own honor value was as high as God's. And so he paid the only price that would satisfy an "honor insult" to the God who was of greatest honor -- giving up his own greatest honor for our sake, and being "shamed" in our place.

The point, dear one, is that He had to die, in order to defeat death and rise again. I'm sorry if His sacrifice isn't enough for you, it certainly is for me and the rest of the Christian community. In fact, it's MORE than enough.
God bless and Merry Christmas!
