Many theistic Satanists are actually polytheistic. They do believe in the Christian God, but look at him as the one trying to suppress knowledge in the Genesis story. They don't see Satan as the bad guy in that and other stories. They also don't see them as the only gods and they don't see good and evil always following clear lines.
I have to say that they have a point from what I saw reading through the Bible. God looks a lot more evil than Satan to me.

You don't need Satan and God or Zeus and Pluto to know what is right and wrong. If actions harm someone - it's wrong. If someone does it for gain or personal pleasure then they are evil and wrong. If actions benefit - good, right.
A lot of people belief that laws in the US are based on Christianity - they weren't. They were and are based on English law and English Common Law which came down from Germanic influences through the Anglo-Saxons. Right and Wrong without the Christian religion.

No..
Evil isn't evil until you have something to compare it to.
Doing bad things would just be the norm.
And Satan is mentioned in the Bible..so it would be kinda stupid to believe in Satan..but not God.

I agree with blue/ if you belive in God, you must believe there's satan/ just like heaven, there's a hell/ good and evil
Can you see something for what it is if there's nothing to compare to what is not?? That's tough, never thought about that before

people are capable of believing anything.
You ask, "What is evil without good?" Fanaticism, zealotry, fundementalism - the worst forms of evil are generarally perpetrated by those who claim to (and may well believe) that they have exclusive license to speak/act for any god.

you believe in satan...then you have to believe in God...even satan believes in God....if you believe in or even worship evil you have to realize that goodness comes from God...it is only logical...if satan is the author of evil
