Of course she does! Cats love their people! Even if she sleeps most of the day, she loves when you are home, making noise, etc. They love to investigate and are curious as to what you are doing, then they go back to sleep...

I know cats can miss people while they are away at work. My cat sits in the window watching for me till either me or my hubby comes home. Then he greets us at the door!

I think she does. Especially if she has no other kitties to play with. I know that when I come home to visit my parents for Christmas, my cats come running and won't leave my side. I know they missed me!

I'm a big cat love, but I've never been ever to figure them out! Let's just hope they love and miss us as much as we do them!

She probably doesn't appreciate not having someone around to play with her or pet her, but in reality she probably just sleeps all day anyway.
