The theory of Christians is that the torture that Jesus went through for was all suffering for our sins and that he is able to forgive sinners after all of the torture that he recieved is because Jesus has not hate in soul/body/spirit however people percieve him these days. So he has already suffered for your sins and waits to forgive you. Thats what the chcurch I grew up in (Southern Baptist) always said.

Good question. Jesus came ONCE and died for all. The price is already paid. He won't suffer more by you accepting his forgiveness, He will rejoice that He didn't die in vain.

The real pain comes when someone knows fully well that He did die for you and they choose not to accept it. It is like when you give your mother a home made Christmas present. If she was to know that you made it for her yet she just throws it away that would hurt your feelings, right? Even though you already made the present she still has to accept it. The same goes with Jesus. He has already died...and don't forget risen....so you can be washed clean from your sins.

Jesus has already suffered for your sins. When you ask for forgiveness of your sins and invite him to be your lord and saviour, you are simply recognizing the wonderful and selfless price he paid on your behalf and loving him for it.

Inviting Christ into your life isn't about asking him to love you. It is about letting your heart love him back.

The Lord Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. He did it one time for all that would believe and trust in what He did for us.He died for our sins, He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

He already suffered. He died, came back, went to eternal bliss. All for you. What a guy. I wish I could die for your sins right now and go to the right hand of God for ever and ever. What a sacrifice he made. Three days of dirt napping. Woo hoo!

As he said, instead of crying for his sufferings, you worry about your sins and try to come out of the same.

He did his duty - the order given by his dad - you too do your duty, rest god will take care.

Any religious book has to be read only with the guidence of a scholor who has learnt theology - as only he knows why and what is said.

Jesus suffered and died you us to be able to be forgiven and get to go to heaven. Its a free girt, but you have to receive the gift. You repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you and ask Jesus to be your personal savior.

Already did apparently. He went thru s h i t, tortured, beaten, whipped and finally, big fat nails, hammered thru his hands a feet to a cross and the cross was stood up on a hill so e1 could watch the 'son of god' die a very painful, excruciating death. I was told he did this so God the father can allow us into heaven.
20yrs later, Im still going huh? Im glad god aint my dad.

He already suffered for your sins; asking forgiveness (and even more importantly - doing better!) is your way of saying thank you!

Hope this helped, and Merry Christmas!
