I LOVE GEORGE CARLIN!! For a while, through no fault of my own, I got all kinds of pay cable channels and would watch him frequently. I no longer get those extra channels and now do not see George. One year, I even had a page-a-day calendar of Carlin-isms. It was marvelous.

He has the christians exactly pegged and his phrase "F*****g christians" really strikes home for me. It says it all.

I haven't seen him lately but I've watched him countless times on TV and have seen him perform live. His "7 dirty words" routine is a classic. His experiences growing up and going to a catholic school are shared by a lot of people of his generation, including my father.
I'm an atheist.

He had me at that Terminal Snack Bar at the airport joke. I'm theist, but I think he is one of the funniest guys alive.

Atheist. He's hilarious. I don't share his POV though. He's one of those people who seems to have resigned himself to bemused apathy - let's just sit back and watch the animals destroy themselves. I see the appeal in that, because I DO get the impression that nothing can be done to save the human race from itself; but I still think there's virtue in trying. Probably just because I'm still young...lol. Get back to me when I'm 50.

Bill Maher is more my style.

I've caught his act once and seem most of his recorded shows. He has a talent for putting things in perspective. I'm an atheist.

He's funny but a bit old and jaded now. He's had enough b.s. I think. His caring is on the wane. I'm an atheist.
