If she chooses not to feed him he will not eat a thing all day. And, if he hasn't eaten by mid-afternoon his mood changes and he gets aggressive because he's hungry. He pulls similar tricks at home. Any ideas???

Stop babying him and tell the teacher to stop aswell. This will only start a trend of him demanding what he wants and expecting to get it. He is just testing you and he wants a reaction. If he doesn't get that reaction he will stop. He will eat when he gets hungry. If he gets "moody" in the afternoon put him in time out to solve the attitude.

Is there perchance a new baby at your house? Many preschoolers regress in that situation. Or it could simply be that the new environment of preschool is so unnerving that he needs the security of being treated like a baby again. Maybe his teacher could wean him off being fed by telling him, "All right, today I'm going to feed you only x bites, and then I want to see you feed yourself," and then gradually decrease the number of bites she feeds him until he's doing it all by himself. Then she and you can praise him for being a "big boy."

It is not his teacher's job to feed him. At 4, he should be able to feed himself. If he refuses to eat, he refuses to eat. He won't go hungry, if he's truly hungry he;ll eat. If he is being aggressive, punish him.

I think he needs time to adjust to school while at home say things like let mommy see her big boy feed his self. Say your such a big boy I've found that at this age they won't to be known as the big girl or big boy. Try it this may work

When he gets hungry enough he will eat. Tell his teacher to stop babying him. He's pulling these "tricks" because he knows he can get away with it. He's old enough to realize that.
