How many of you talk to your mother or father everyday?

I talk to my mom everyday, she is my best friend. My husband doesn't really like this, and says it isn't normal, and that he doesn't know of anyone who does this. So we're just trying to find out if it is a "normal" thing or not. Thanks!

I talk to my mom everyday as she is also my best friend. My husband has never minded though. I just agreed to not go telling her every little thing that happens in our lives that are too personal. And I talk to my dad about 4-5 times a week because he lives in the same city as we do. Tell your husband it's normal!!!

heart you keep talking everyday to your mom, i lost my mom 5 years ago going on 6 now.And what i wouldn't do to have her back in my life i miss her more then anything in this world.
You hold on to what you and your mom have for dear life and don't worry about what your husband says. You only have one set of parents in your life time don't ever lose that. MOMs are a gift and so are DADs i lost my dad 27 years ago and i was a daddys girl, so there it is normal to talk to your parents everyday i just wish i still could..

I talk to my mother or sister every day. Sometimes for hours. And most of the people I know talk to their mothers or fathers daily, at least just to check in.

And I'm 33. My mother isn't my best friend. But I love her; she's my mother, so I respect her input into things.

i havent talked to my biological mom in 6 years. but my step mom who ive known for most of my life since i was 3 months old, i work with her. and even on the weekends when we dont have work. she either calls me or i call her. its a normal thing i think. my dad, i really dont talk to him that often. maybe one every two weeks. my (step)mom n me were like best friends i guess u could say. id rather lean on her for advice or just talk to her about everyday simple things that happen than friends. i think its absolutly normal. shes ur family.

Very normal, I talk to my mother at least 3 or 4 times a day and Hubby has not one problem with it. Dos your Hubby and mother get along? i dont understand why he would be upset by this,. its your mother, when he gets mad, just say fine, i wont talk to my mom ill find another guy to talk to...that will shut him up!

I talk to my mom just about every day. I think it's normal - it just depends on your relationship with your mother. If you're very close, like you are, then it's totally normal.

My mom lives with us now. But I've always talked to her every day. My dad passed away 6 years ago, but prior to that, I spoke with them both every day.

My husband talks to his dad once or twice a week, his dad lives out of state, and his mother is deceased 16 yrs, and he spoke with his parents once or twice a week.

I think it's in what type of relationship you have with your parents growing up and how you communicated then. My son is 22 and he calls me every day.

Totally normal.. I talk to my mom EVERYDAY.. and she talks to her mom about the same.. My boyfriend calls and talks to his auntie(aka 2nd mom) about 5 times a day.. Just means your close to your family and hes not so much.. you just grew up differently. thats all..
