Theoretically, since muscle mass burns fat more efficiently, if I used 'roids to put on 15 lbs of muscle, I would be able to get more out of aerobic workouts. Is that possible, hypotheically?

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

in theory that would work via several mechanisms. there are 2 types of steroids there are anabolics which help to promote rapid gains in muscle mass and then there are androgens which are used for strength and the anti-catabolic properties when dieting down for a show

to increase your cardiovascular performance you need to increase the intensity at which you exercise at. the easiest way to do this is to focus on performing more "work" in the same amount of training time. say today you run on the treadmill for 45 minutes at level 5 and travel 8 miles the goal the next cardio day should be 8.1 miles at level 5 in 45 minutes, the next session 8.2, etc. this is how you increase cardiovascular performance and increase the resting metabolic rate AFTER exercise where the real fat loss occurs. at the conclusion of exercise you need to be panting and unable to hold a normal conversation.

besides the diet training at an insufficient level of intensity is the 2nd leading cause for people to not see the improvements that they desire as a result of exercise. regardless if it's weights or cardio the intensity needs to be constantly increased to continually make progress. this is where training logs come into play. you see what you did the last training session and you either need to match it or beat it. most people perform the same workout day after day week after week and this is why their bodies continue to look the same year after year. if over the course of several months or a year there isn't sufficient progress made in cardiovascular performance or strength don't expect much in the physical changes to your body.

No. This is like saying because the specific gravity of scotch is lower than that of water, then drinking nothing but scotch all day will help to lose weight.

Steroids will help you gain muscle, but they will also increase your appetite. Have you never wondered why so many competative weight lifters bulk and then cut when it's not necessary to bulk in the first place? It's because of the 'roids. These increase your appetite, which means you eat more which means you gain weight.

So using these things for weight loss makes no sense.
