I don't think any religious views should have major influence on our politics. But if religion is going to of course I would want mine to have more influence. Why? Because mine doesn't claim to be the best or THE truth or the only way. But it does ask us to respect all life (no that doesn't mean we have to be vegans), take care of our environment, and to take personal responsibility for our actions. No blaming others for what we do.

Umm, well technically, I think that my personal views should have a lot more influence on US politics, because I'm essentially an atheist, so all in all, I'd like religion in general to be out of american government. So take your pick, I guess, lol.

The moral components of religious views, whether they be aspects of human rights or health care for children, they should play a large part in US politics. Democracy and human rights didn't come out of thin air. They came from Protestantism followed by the Enlightenment. Why would we want our government to be amoral?

Absolutely. My religious views are my deepest conviction and I think they should rule the world. Because I'm perfect.
