Depends on the dog. My Siberian Husky acted like a pup until she was about 9 years old. That's typical for that breed.
Most pups become dogs physically (finished growing) between 1-2 years. But not all.

Once there born to 8 months is puppy hood. From 8 months to 3yrs is the adolescence period. From 3 yrs and up is adult hood. That's when they're mentally and physically an adult. Even though dogs physically seem like an adult at 8 months or so mentally there still youthful. Also remember the adolescence stage is the most crucial to train and bond with your dog because that's the stage that will shape him/her into an adult.

It depends of the size of the dog like, for example a giant size dog becomes an adult at 2 years old, a big sized dog would be at 18 month, a medium size dog would be at 1 year old, and a small sized dog would be at 8 months.

Depends on the breed of the dog. For example I have a Dogue De Bordeaux and she will not be fully grown until she is 2.
On the other hand, I had a labrador who was fully grown at the age of 12 months.

Most people consider one year old an adult dog, but different breeds mature slower (and some faster) than others. I have Australian Shepherds and they don't seem to really mature until between 1 1/2 and 2 years old. We also have Beagles, and they seem to mature faster.
It really seems to depend on the breed.

It depends upon the breed. Large dogs mature more slowly and their growth plates are still open past their second birthdays. They may become reproductive at 1 to 11/2 years and they act like puppies until sometime into their third year.
Small breeds do mature sooner and tend to live longer so one to two years is about right in terms of growth and maturity.

It depends on the size of the dog. Toy breeds are generally fully grown before a year, 6-9 months. Medium dogs about a year, large dogs 12-18 months and giant breeds generally from 18-24 months.

It's different with every bread 1 year for some and smaller dogs it usually takes 6 months. To really be sure we would have to know the breed of your dog or you can ask a vet.
