Sweetie, unless you're home all the time, it will be very difficult to housebreak your dog without your parents help. Hopefully they'll be willing to help you. What you need to do is start your dog a routine that includes a crate or pen when no one can watch her. Get her used to the crate slowly and make sure she thinks about it in a positive way, meaning give her treats in there, give her belly rubs, and other fun things.
As soon as she comes out of the crate, every time, she should go outside and stay out until she relieves herself. Be patient and don't play with her until she does. When she does, praise and reward her with lots of attention and play. Give it a name such as 'potty', that she can associate with going, and that you can used as a command to help her know what you want.
You should take her out frequently, at least every hour at first so she doesn't really have the opportunity for an accident.
If she does, when you clean it up, take it outside and place it on the ground where you want her to go. When she shows interest repeat the potty command. DON'T yell at or punish her for accidents - just be calm and quiet...just as you do when waiting for her to go outside. and when she shows interest, praise her.
In the house, watch her at all times. If she sniffs the floor at all, jump up and say 'let's go potty', and take her outside. Use the same door every time if possible.
Housebreaking is very easy, it just takes time, patience and consistency. Start on a weekend or other time when you can be home a lot, and your parents can fill in in your absence.

If you show them this responsibility perhaps they will be willing to help you acheive success so you can all have a happy pet and a clean house!!

You have to house break her, no two ways about it. You can get tons of info on house breaking in dog books and books on house training. Most reccomend starting by crate training him. This will involve a lot of time and commitment on your part, including getting up during the night to let you dog out (I have to take my puppy out twice a night) and having someone available a lot during the day to let her out, at least 5 or 6 times a day. Also take her out before and after play, before and after eating (careful about this though it she is a large breed or giant breed dog because they can develop a condition called bloat, it can be related to exercising to closely to a meal). Also, pay attention to any tome she's sniffing around, looking like she has to go out, take her immediatly! House training HAS to come above everything else, TV, phone calls, video games, etc... Also when she has accidents DO NOT punish her, if you see her having an accident, tell her now and get her outside right away for her to finish doing her business. Go to a pet store and get some stuff to clean up her messes so that she can't smell them there any more. Dogs will go back to a spot that they have decided is the bathroom if not corrected. Good luck, and have patience. Write down when she does go to the bathroom out side and when she has accidents so that your parents can see that she's improving because if she goes to a shelter, most people don't want to get an adult dog that isn't housetrained.

You haven't mentioned how old your dog is. There are several things you can do to house break a dog. First, make sure that you feed your dog at the same time every day (never leave food out all day for your dog to eat). Take your dog outside or to the puppy pad immediately after meals. Take water away a couple of hours before bedtime and then take your dog outside to relieve himself just before going to bed.

Every time your dog goes where you want him to REWARD and PRAISE him! Dogs will show signs of needing to relieve themselves by sniffing around, or circling, take your dog to the acceptable place to relieve himself immediately. If you see your dog starting to relieve himself in a not appropriate place, you can say "no, bad dog!" Then take the dog to an appropriate place. Do not punish you dog after he has gone in the wrong place, or scare him because the next time he will only hide to relieve himself.

NEVER leave a dog unsupervised that is not potty trained. A small area gated off or a crate (that is just big enough for your dog to lie down, sit and turn around in) is the best way to control the potty training issue.

Buy a kennel and keep the dog in it when you are not home- it needs to be just a little bigger than the dog. The minute you get home, take the dog outside. Never leave the dog alone and go out every 30 minutes until the dogs gets it- it may take a couple weeks.

Crate Training is probably the best answer. You can keep it in dog crate when ever you do not have direct observation. Like when you are at school or during the night when you are asleep.

Crates are very humane and most dogs love the security they give them.

our dog trainer says use chicken liver as a treat when they potty outside with alot of praise. when u take him out and she does go praise her and give a treat to her if he goes inside don't give her anything. Use the kennel when u take her out of it take her out right away when she is done eating or drinking take her out and before u put her back into the kennel. Use the kennel to train when done playing with her take her out then when u bring her in put her in the kennel take her back out with in a half hour to see if she goes but use alot of praise and a treat when she does go outside. give also time for food to digest and for her to go outside before u put her in for the night cut off the water and food at a certain time

is it a problem b/c she going potty al over your house?if so, try puppy pads..they work great b/c they don't leak through and they attract the dogs b/c they smell like grass.take her out too theo. don't use puppy pads as her main source to go.just put them in areas of the house that she is often in so she won't go on ur couch/etc

You have to WORK at house training. I think your parents are testing you on your responsibility skills.
