Please only serious answers... I think I really need help...
I've been having these weird fantasies lately of me dying. Sometimes they occur when I'm walking or just having a moment to think, and can be anything from me "seeing" myself being hung from various items, being impaled while lying in bed, having the ceiling crumbling down and crushing me, and even as gruesome as being ripped apart by metal claws. These illusions are not only homicidal, sometimes suicidal. The weirdest part of it all is that I find no discomfort in any these thoughts, and I sometimes seek solace in them. They even sometimes help me fall asleep. Is there something wrong with me? I don't think that I really want to act on these thoughts (the suicidal ones), but the other day I was highly intoxicated and consumed 4500mg acetaminophen, only enough to make me feel like ****. I also think I might suffer insomnia, seeing as how I should be sleeping now since I fell asleep at 3am and woke up at 7am.

This is not normal these visions. And especially if you are finding comfort in them. Please don't wait. Make an appointment with a psychiatrist. These doctors are can prescribe meds and therapy. Please no more over the counter drugs unless you talk with the pharmacist about the proper doses. Acetaminophen commonly found in Tylenol
can in high does , hurt your liver. Acetaminophen can not be broken down quickly in the liver. Please call now and seek help. Email me please, if you are scared or need to talk.

Having suicidal thoughts is dangerous. It could be that you are going through depression. I've had some thoughts like that before and they are almost certainly signs of a larger life issue. I'd say that you need to confide these things in someone that you trust deeply.
If you can't think of someone like that who is readily available, try speaking to a religious leader or school counselor. They will be able to help you find the root cause of your troubles.
I don't care what anyone says, fantasizing about your death isn't normal and should be treated carefully.
Overdosing on Tylenol isn't going to help at all. There are medicines out there that may help, but they should only be prescribed by a physician.

The suicidal thoughts, even if you have no intention of acting on them, are a sign of depression, as is the insomnia. Drinking can make the depression worse (depression and being depressed are not the same thing). You should consider seeing a therapist and at the very least you should talk to your doctor. They can help you find counseling and maybe perscribe something in the short term that can help with the depression.

You don't say anything about being treated by a doctor. No prescription drugs are mentioned. No counseling to help you sort things out. How do you think you can get any better without any good medical help?
Many times illusions come from side effects from medications. Maybe they are coming because you are taking much to much of acetaminophen. Too much of anything is not good.
You seriously need medical help. I hope you will do this for your own peace of mind. Life is too precious not to have some peace. God bless you very much.

I think they are expressions of how you secretly feel, sometimes they can be interconnected to the group mind. It sounds like you are an unexpressed artist. Find a method to express the emotions, maybe not the fantasies but the emotion that fuels them.
Also pay attention to the lyrics and lives of the musicians that you like. They will help you express, and there is a reason that you like the ones you do.
Then learn to express as they do, for others to become aware of their emotions.
Also accept pain, and do not run away from it.. look at it head on, feel it.
BTW do not get on anti-depressants
they disconnect you from the emotions that help you grow

I would suggest talking to a therapist about yout thoughts. If you work or are in college, your employer or campus health department can often refer you to one for free. Usually the first few meetings are free, and then if they think you need more help, they refer you to someone else. If you have health insurance, your doctor or insurance plan could also refer you to someone who has experience with these thoughts. I just think it would help to have someone to talk to at length about all of this. The short answers you receive here will probably not be as satisfactory as having a real conversation with someone with some expertise. Good luck.

There is something wrong. Since you are taking acetaminophen in large doses, I asume you may be using other drugs as well. If that is the case, there is your problem probably.
Stay away from drugs. They can cause paranoid delusions among other things.
If you still have the problem, seek help from a doctor.

no offense but i truly think you are searching in the wrong place for answers. i think that you should go down to a hospital and admit yourself for a 72 hour psychiatric evaluation, sometimes the hardest part of life is finding yourself especially when you are battling the demons within yourself. oh and cut back on the Tylenol, it is hard to o.d on acetaminophen plus it is very bad for your liver.good luck to you!!!!

Well the last part sounds as if you are suicidal by taking all that medication. I think you need to talk to a therapist soon.

I think you should go and see a psychiatrist. He/She might help you find out why why you are having these weird thoughts. Perhaps you read too many horror books, or watch too many horror films... Good Luck
