When the time comes when we die, we go before him, and are both forgiven, even though you live your life in servitude of said being, and I live mine to my own purpose, doubting the existence of such a being?

Would you be mad if I got a mansion next to you in heaven, and cranked my stereo?

This is a pure hypothetical, of course....

That would be a hoot!

But than again, we constantly hear how loving the Christian God is, so they may be right, making you right.

But isn't it strange that you can't have a religion without the loving, merciful all knowing God they worship destroying or punishing the unbelievers in a most sadistic and cruel fashion?

It's also interesting to note that the most Christians answering you question here, know "definitely" that you ain't gonna make it based on the Bible, a book they cannot even prove is the Word of God.

Speaking of heaven, doesn't the Bible say that bad angels came to earth in Noah's day to have sex with beautiful human women? Dude, what if there are not hot chicks in heaven???

Bummer!

No, I wouldn't be mad, and I don't think I'd be surprised either. I think many Christians box God in too much - our understanding of Him is limited (yet so many are afraid to admit that). I think what we know about Him overall is very small, and while I do read/study the Bible and try to learn the lessons it contains, I don't think it at all encompasses all there is to know and understand about God. I know one thing for sure though: He is WAY more forgiving and loving than most Christians (including myself sometimes) will ever be.

Merry Christmas!

If I knew that was true, I would not be so worried about you today. I hope it to be true, but I would have to totally misunderstand the Word of God.

Ask Jesus to come into your heart this Christmas. Read the Book of Luke in the New Testament chapter 2 for the birth of Jesus Christ. The Word of God says to call upon the name of the Lord and thou shalt be saved.

Check out the story of the prodigal son. One kid took his inheritance early and left to live a life of excess--the other kid stayed around to work for Dad.

When the rebel came back, he was welcomed and forgiven--and the other brother was mad about it. But according to how Jesus told the story, that's how forgiveness works.

So, maybe you're on to something!

I could be wrong, but like so many questions here, this is a question that seems meant to trap and provoke Christians.

It definitely is one the more less offensive one's I've seen.

and I'm noticing most answers are light-hearted, and that is probably best...

Your question is neither here nor there, but the statement buried in there about your purpose sparks my curiosity -I would respectfully be intrigued to know what your purposes are, and what the motivations behind your purposes are...

I would crank my stereo louder... I listen to some pretty loud music and in heaven MY volume would go to to 11.

If I was unfortunate enough to end up in this deity's idea of heaven (unlikely b/c 1.-I'm not going to believe or ask for forgiveness (of what!?) any time soon and 2.-I'm not a middle eastern male), I'd ask if his mother could reincarnate me instead.

No, I wouldn't be mad at God. God is gonna judge as He sees fit. If you were in the mansion next to mine though, crank it up and share your musical tastes with your neighbors!! But please keep it lowered if you like country music!

I am pretty sure that you and I would be relegated to the 'thief on the cross' neighborhood, and if you cranked up a heavenly radio, broadcasting gospel music, I would make sure we were both sent to hell for domestic dispute.

I believe almost everyone will receive some degree of glory. That includes you and all of the AM. What kind of music will we be listening to? I've got some good CDs you can borrow.
