I am an identical twin, but I don't know much about Muslim names. I had a friend named "Zahra" who was Muslim, though - will that work? As an identical twin, I have to put in my two cents about names - I would avoid giving the twins names that are too much alike. It is hard to grow up as a twin and always be seen as part of a "set." All kids, even - and especially- twins need to feel like individuals first, twins second. Give them names that are not too "matchy" so they won't feel like two halves of one unit. Good luck!

Whatever you do, don't give them names that rhyme, I hate when parents do that. Give them names that are completely different, and raise them slightly different so that people don't see them as one in the same. I know way too many twins they grow up wearing exactly the same clothing, actually same everything, it's almost like they are a clone of each other.

have you tried going to babynamefinder.com or www.ivillage.com? Do you have a muslim cleric that you could ask? Some name sites, you can search by region such as gaelic, muslim, etc. Good luck and congrats.
