As long as you don't wear them while you are in uniform, or even when you are in civilian clothes on base.
You should have no problem wearing them off base and out of uniform.
Now the real question is....is it worth the trouble?
Wasn't for me, I let all of my piercings grow closed.

You could probably just take them out, but they'll close up anyway from lack of use. I doubt that they will let you have them in while in the Navy, and there are so many rules about other things, so I don't think piercings will be allowed.

No piercings other than ears are allowed in the Navy. You can just take the rings out, they don't need to be completely healed, but they can't be stretched, either..

you may not. for one, they will close anyway while you are in Boot camp, since they are not allowed in uniform. You will be in uniform the entire 9 weeks of Boot, as well as the first 2 weeks minimum of A school. They may NOT be worn while in uniform, ever, nor ever on base, not even in civilian clothes.
Might as well close them up now, as they will be a DQ if the holes are overly large anyway.

You just need to take them out, they will most likely close on there own while your at basic anyways. From here on out they will have to stay closed until you are done with the military.

Absolutely NOT. The holes where the piercings are will have to be closed. Definitely take the rings out.

No, US Navy Uniform regulations forbid you from wearing them even off of duty. Regardless if you did anyways, spend time at sea, and you will never wear it or you will feel the wrath only once or twice.

even the navy has policies that frown on things like this. it would be best if you took them out now and let the holes close before going anywhere.

You will need to take them out and I would suggest letting them close.
