No. The more likely lesson is that we are finding out how a guerilla/terrorist war is fought.

BTW, wasn't Afghanistan a model of how multi-national support was supposed to be sought after and used?

What unfinished war are you referring to? I believe the war taking place at this moment is the war on terror. It covers many areas in many countries. I believe you are confusing "wars" with "battles" or possibly "theaters". Are you familiar with military terms, disciplines and tactics?
