Also, if it is as you say analagous; why would Job have suffered as much as he did?

ER, WHAT TRIBE? DO YOU MEAN, THE SONS OF GOD?

Edit:
The 'sons of God' in the Book of Job refers to the angels, satan being one of them. Although he was a fallen angel, he still had access to the heavenly Throne Room, & his main preoccupation would be to accuse the saints before God, just like he accused Job.

However, the day comes when he will be finally kicked out of heaven by Archangel Michael and the heavenly hosts of warring angels in heaven.....read this exciting account in Revelation 12:7-13

The sons of God are literally the spirit sons of our Father in Heaven. The angels you speak of are literally God's sons, spiritually begotten of Him for the purpose of entering into the mortal realms of His creation. Some of God's sons were obedient to God's plan and others were not. They rebelled and were cast out, becoming fallen angels, Satan and his followers. Our Heavenly Father held counsel with His children to present them with His plan for their further progression. We accepted His plan. We know this by virtue of the fact that we are here. Those that did not accept it were cast out, never to receive mortality.
If you want to "stand firm" in the "tribe" of God's sons, then you must live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, be obedient to the end.
Best wishes

The sons of God is a reference to those entities who were directly created by God. They can be either angelic or demonic but the point is that they were spoken into existence.

Sons, in this context is clearly analagous, not literal. It referred to created beings, normally called Angels. and there included the fallen angel we call Satan.

LORD is not God;
<--BC is not AD-->
Law is not Grace us

Can we move on,

comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

ok here again SONS OF GOD ARE NOT ANGELS
and it says they are not in HEBREWS

SONS of GOD are the general assembly of those who have been washed in the blood and who as it said " to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" and the assembly is also recorded in Hebrews...saying those whose name is written in the Book of LIFE

and if you will see what it says in Job and it says this" THE SONS of GOD came to PRESENT themselves before the Lord , and satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD "

in Hebrews 1:5-6 sons of God are not Angels
in Hebrews 1:14 explains who and what they are

And in Hebrews 12:22-29
explains who the general assembly is in heaven and about us when we call upn the name of the LORD

now to finish your question
Job was set for an example of man with GOD
He had all the blessings of God
He was protected of God
and He was upright before GOD which is why God was with him
and BEing of GOD and Following God he was faithful
and as the enemy tries us , so was Job tried as by fire
God knew Job would not fail , and he also knew Job needed more wisdom of God
So God ALLOWED the enemy to test him and to show that he would stay even through trials..........

It was and is an example to us to Hold to God...cause there are things happening in everyones life and there are things going to happen in our lives, where we will be in need to Hold to GOd and learn the patience Job did ( and its tribulation which worketh patience ) For again the word says ..we are to HOLD FAST untill THE END..........
Job was and is our example..........as was Christ in His suffereings , and even Job was a type of Christ , who sat and waited and endured till the end !!!
for it is written again
( BEHOLD in the Volume of the book it speaks of me )
JESUS CHRIST
and Job was likened to him and us...........if we just Trust and Hold and KNOW
" Tho He slay me , yet will i trust in HIM "
