To find the answer to that question we must see what the Bible says which is that there is "one baptism", "one God", that we must not forsake "the gathering of ourselves together" and that we must receive "food at the proper time".

"One body there is, and one spirit, even as you were called in the one hope to which you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all." -- Ephesians 4:4-6

"And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near." -- Hebrews 10:24,25

"Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?" -- Matthew 24:45

St Paul says 'Yes' but with the proviso that goes back to the beginning : You must act on what you already know and you can't be responsible for your own ignorance. IF you refuse to join a religion whether you see God wants you to or not, you are out in the cold. -- Which makes sense. You aren't God.
If you tell your child to clean his room and he doesn't but he does cut the lawn, wash the car, and fix the roof -- he's still disobeyed you !! and is a nutcase to boot.

I did not realize God had a meeting club and came with a book of instructions. You have me concerned, why is a private belief of a person so important to someone else?

God is in the seeking, not so much the finding. (I've heard "the devil is in the details," -- maybe religion is the "details :-) ...

Speaking of the devil...I'll be devil's advocate: Ben Franklin said, "Experience teaches a dear school, but only FOOLS will learn at no other." Hmmm....

Answer: I don't rightly know. I'd like to say yes...

One does not "find God." If one believes in Christ as the Son of God, God calls him to serve, and the church provides the instruction.

Yes. God is not just inside men's cathedrals, churches and houses of worship. We are counseled to pray and worship in secret, in our closets, our homes, or our wilderness. We can carry a prayer in our hearts at all times and all places. If we study the scriptures, pray for guidance and listen for the promptings of the Spirit in our lives, we can be close to our Father in Heaven. However, having followed the promptings of the Spirit in our private lives, we will ultimately be led to His Church where we can learn all that we need to know to return to His presence. So yes, you can find God without religion but you will not find the fulness of His gospel without finding His Church and joining it.
Best wishes in your search for spirituality.

Yes.
First pray to God for guidance. Do this with serious heart felt desire to know God.
Sit quietly, quiet your mouth, calm your mind and listen to what the spirit says. Do this daily and seriously and never give up and you will receive guidance from God.
As Jesus teaches seek first the kingdom of God, with all your heart, mind and soul.
God is in you.
God bless you.

you dont have to belong to a religion to find god. everyboy had their own way of find. the church is a just another way. regardless there is only one god with many names. so everybody is praising the same person. so belonging to a specific religion or group doesnt justify as being christian, catholic, jewish etc. its whatever you believe. just make sure your beliefs are your own, and not of somebody elses.

It depends what you are looking for. Worship is for God it is not about you. Christianity is a personal relationship with God, so in that means you do not need a religion. FOLLOW Jesus if you want to be saved, accept Him as your Lord and Savior and He saves you. But if you are not interested in salvation, then all the other ways are fine.

yes - you have a much better chance of finding god, if there is one, if you stay away from religion
