I always do...unless the link is a home page, and I have to search through it to find what I am looking for. I will look it over for maybe two minutes, and if I can't figure out how to navigate to what I am looking for, that's it. I'm done.

So, anyway, I just wanted to find out if looking for links to support my answer is a waste of time. :)

It depends. Is it a real source or not? If they posted a link to a National Geographic article, I'd look. If they posted a link to drdino.com I'd only go for comedy value. Posting a link to a guy in jail for tax FRAUD is just funny.

The thing is a website only costs $6.99 a year. I have five of them. They are lousy primary sources unless they have some type of reputation behind them.

Usually not if it was a link to wiki because I could have done that myself if I wanted to :). But otherwise, I might check out the link.

Yep, as for those who say "I don't follow links, its too risky" I say, get a firewall and and a good antivirus. Keep them updated, and come off the porch to play.

Yes. I even watched an entire Tim McGraw video the other day. "Drugs or Jesus" - it was so painful I was willing to take BOTH by the end.
