no, you'll eventually find yourself in that situtation where one thing leads to another.

In most cases you can be firends, but it depends on the type of friendship you two have and then again, your best friends always know you best and make the best companion. If you are true friends then it couldn't hurt the friendship but only make it stronger in the end even if things don't work out. This is probably because you know what not to do in the relationship and you would never plan to hurt one another. For instance... I ended up marring my best friend from High School, and no we have 3 children together and happy as ever when we both have made some mistakes, but it made us stronger. Also that we already knew eachother emotionally, and have both had our fair share of bad relations before one another. Hope this helps at least a lil bit. Good luck.

It really depends on the individuals. If the two people involved really want a friendship it is possible whether they are in a relationship with someone else or single. If you have a good friend and a companion you must make time to maintain all the relationships in your life. I’m speaking from experience. You make time for things you care about. I too am extremely critical of my best friend relationship choices. My concern comes from me knowing she’s a great catch and deserves someone as good as she is

yes, i believe you can just be friends. I have a really good friend, he is very good looking and single and we never had that thing for each other. We have being friend for almost 8 years now and never anything happened between us.
But now, sometimes people ruin friendships because of physical attraction and alcohol. Everything depends if you like your friend or not, if you like your friend you will try the way to get what you want, otherwise nothing will happen.

The reason ladies become very critical in my opinion (i know i am a guy) is that they become worried about you. They are your friend and they think they know (and many times they do) a lot mroe about their own sex than we do. They believe that they can help us make the right choices in women.
On another note, friends don't need to spend a lot of time together. As long as every moment is well spent, it doesn't matter how long it is.

I can be friends with a guy and have no romantic feelings at all. But I feel most men are incapable of this. It really depends on the individuals and the dynamics of the friendship. In most cases, it doesn't work.

It is like Billy Crystal explained to Meg Ryan in the movies.
Woman don't consider men as friends until they have past over them as lovers. It is human nature.

I think it depends on how much sexual tension is between the two of you. If you have chemistry on that level, it becomes increasingly difficult to remain "just friends". I have many male friends, and it is easy to remain friends if we never cross that boundary.

I have hung out with guys all my life and usually in every group their is 1 or 2 who start to like me. I have done it to with my guy friends. So it really depends on who it is, whats happening in their life, and if they can really prove it to you. SO all I can say is if you don't want people liking you don't get to familiar with people.

Yeah, me and my friend are as close as can be. Most people think we are dating because they don't get our friendship.

I agree with the statement that girls can be friends with guys easier than guys can be friends with girls.
