I'm getting a blood test just to make sure my soar throat and swolen glands is just a sinus infection. I got a finger prick yesterday and it kinda hurt. They said it was to early to decide if I had mono even though the results were negative. Is the one I'm getting today hurt more. If it does hurt what can I do to make it hurt less. Im really nervous.

It hurts a little bit. Like somebody mildly pinching you. It's not that bad. Suck it up.

i had a mono test a 5. it hurts LESS than a shot but THE SAME AS a regular blood test.

to tell you the truth, if you put your ipod on blast before the test and through out the test, look away, and dont think about it, you will barely feel it at all if any

RELAX, being tense will make it hurt a great deal. If you relax and think about something else while they draw your blood, you probably won't even feel it.
