my x says the same, its just dosen't work second time,tell him,coming back into relationship just wont work,and you cant be so close friend to an x,it just hurts both of yours fellings...

just tell him that you do not feel that way anymore toward him, better to hurt now a little than to let it drag on and on. Help him to move on by not continuing to take his calls, and talk to him that just lets him keep thinking there is a chance to get back together. You might have to be a little cold too, not that you want to but he has to move on and will not unless he really thinks you are serious

There's no easy way to put this subject on the table for anybody!
But the best thing you have to do is be Hard honest.
It will hurt him, but that's the way life is!
Unfortunately. But it will be better for him, you can't live a healthy relationship when you are loving alone.

If he really loves you he will know when you say it and dont mean it. Yeah it will hurt him a little but he will get over it, unless he really does love you. Just tell him if you dont have feelings for him anymore.

Just say your sorry but you dont have feelings for him like that anymore. Tell him that he would be better off finding another girl who can make him happy in life....but you arent that person (unless you want to be that person)

Tell him you don't see him that way and tell him you just want to be friends.
Better to say that then to lead him on.
It's going to hurt him regardless, but it will hurt less if you do it earlier rather than later.

I think he would feel a little better if you told him you were already involved in a relationship and that you two still can be friends.
