I can't resist sweets and juices and I keep buying at the school canteen, even if I don't have money, I always borrow from someone else and I keep buying, buying, buying!

How do I stop this? I REALLY need to lose weight!!!!

I had a hard time giving up sweets too. You know what I did? I wouldn't let myself within 15 feet of them. I used to go to a convenience store and get a snickers & a coke, and after a while, I just didn't go in that store.

If I felt like I needed to snack on something, I replaced sweets with carrot sticks & dip, an apple, dried fruit...find something you can substitute, and then create a mental block to actually getting the sweets. Maybe that is willpower, but I always thought of it as a hard-and-fast rule. I gave up sweets for 2 years using that method. Good luck!

Whenever you get a temptation eat LOTS of fruit (like grapes, apples, oranges, all those cool exotic fruits). This will solve your craving because fruit has lots of fruit-sugar in it. It never hurts to eat too much fruit (so long as it's not genetically modified...which is impossible these days). Fruit will not make you gain weight, that's what carbohydrates do. Fruit gives you protein, which you NEED. So do veggies and green leaves (are green leaves veggies? I get confused there).

As hard as it is, if you REALLY want to lose weight then you REALLY need the willpower.

If you don't have the willpower then forget it.
Just speaking the truth.

Sometimes people don't get the willpower to do such thing till its life threatening, and sometimes never. Just got to believe in yourself and KNOW you can do it

Ill also add that dont bother with and fad diets or marketing crap, if you REALLY want to do it then you will. Fad diets and all this marketing stuff is crap, literally.

You have to figure out WHY you are behaving this way first... or all the willpower in the world won't help you.

Otherwise, substitute strategies when you feel like eating (for example, drink water, go do something else).

Drink more water. When you drink more water, it lowers the temptation.
