Hon, You talk to God just like you talk to anyone else. He understands all languages and slang too. He did not say thee, shalt, thou.. That is the way English was spoken in the days of King Arther and medieval times. When they translated the bible into English.
I would just say hey Dad, How are ya today? Me? Hmm I`m not doing too bad.. It is a beautiful Day you provided God. I love you..
It is very simple. By the way, Don`t forget to still your mind and listen.. Praying is listening too..

Just talk to God and He will listen. That is what prayer is. Speaking and listening to God.
