I am not at all certain as to what your physical size has to do with your ability or lack thereof to be able to read any book you so choose to read?

If you have learned to read, you may do so.

Sound to me you have the right attitude for it if you have to ask "permission." The religious can't think for themselves, so at least your built for it in "thought" regardless of your height or weight.
