Well, I just drove through parts of this area.
Basel - no snow, and no prediction for any
Bern - no snow, see above
Geneva - no snow, see above
Interlaken - no snow, slight possibility for snow
You should try to get up a bit higher, e.g. from Interlaken to Grindelwald were you might find some snow.
I have been above 1500 meters last weekend, and there we had nice weather and wonderful snow.

Basel and Geneva are pretty unlikely to have snow; Bern's a maybe, Interlaken probably will, or at least a view of it.

um...yeah...it's way north of the equator, which puts it in the northern hemisphere. In December, in the northern hemisphere, it's also winter, which usually means snow that far north of the equator. It's also high above sea level, in the mountains (Alps), which makes snow even more likely.

yes, it is Xmas and it must be snowing. Also check yahoo weather for more detail forecast. and u can enjoy the snow filled lake in interlaken.
