Is there a cheaper way for someone to get to the train station than a cab if there is no mass transit, friends

available to help out at the time, and it is not close enough to walk/bike to?

there is NO mass transit at all in the area at any time.

since you dont state what city you are from or where
you are catching the train for all I know you could
be in Timbuktu! or in New York!

why not get to the train station early when there is transit running?
