He probably does - that's part of his charm - or ability to attract. He doesn't disguise sin in unappealing packages, now does he? He makes most of "his ideas" appealing and tempting to people so they'll fall for his beguiling ways. So I imagine he is utterly charming, fascinating, charismatic, and devilishly handsome (which may be where that description came from.) He's just called the beast, the serpent, because his mission is to thwart God's children from returning to Him.

If Lucifer, or anyone, had free will, then no god can be all-knowing. An all knowing god would know the entire future of the universe right from its beginning. Because the universe is completely knowable, it is completely predictable. As it is completely predictable, it can only happen one way, with no alternatives. That means that there is no free will, as all outcomes are determined right from the beginning. So if Lucifer had free will, then god cannot be all-knowing. If god is all-knowing, then he knew Lucifer's actions before they happened, so Lucifer had no actual free will to change that. If god were omnipotent, then he could create uncertainty, hence randomness that would allow free-will, but then he could not be omniscient. However, such a god could not force an outcome of a random event, thereby contradicting omnipotence. Omniscience and free-will are contradictory. Omniscience and omnipotence are contradictory. Omnipotence is contradictory with itself.

Yes its true Satan is a beautiful God created him to be a Angel who sings with many voices the bible tells us he has many pipes to sing to the Lord. Satan can also appear as a Angel of light and so to answer your statement yes he is a light but his nature is wicked and makes him turn to darkness meaning his heart.

What makes you think Lucifer, aka Satan looks like a beast? The name Lucifer means light bearer and the Bible says Satan appears as a minister of righteous and an angel of light. He is described as a beast because of his nature, not because of his looks. He is probably breathtakingly beautiful.

He was the highest and most beautiful angel...until God decided to carve out Hell by plunging him down into unspecified space and severely damaging Lucifer's original form in the first place. You'd look different too if God carved out a lake of fire using your face.

Well, first, Satan and Lucifer are not the same thing or being for that matter. Lucifer was a Roman light bringer associated with Prometheus. Satan simply means "Adversary", it's more of a title rather than a name. The whole "fall" mythology was begotten through fiction, Milton's Paradise Lost and Dante's Inferno to be exact. So - there you go. Oh - and most Christians will tell you Lucifer was a beautiful angel.

Satan was never made to be the highest angel. Jesus Christ was the firstborn of all creation. He was his father's "master worker". (Proverbs 8:30)
But yes. Satan would have been beautiful. The artistic interpretation of a beast with horns and a tail are just that... artistic interpretation with no basis in the scripture.

I heard Lucifer IS very beautiful, to be able to be so good at deceiving. I think the idea that he is ugly came from Medieval church leaders (like fire and brimstone), so they could develop scare-tactics to get people to repent. Satan certainly does NOT have a bifurcated tail!
