Probably not. When you make your reservation, you have to ask for a vegetarian meal. It's available nowadays. And bring some veggie jerky and a few Nectar bars with you just in case.

Not necessarily. Kosher foods are foods that have been prepared following the Jewish dietary laws. Many animal products can be kosher, including some fish, poultry, and beef. So chances are a Kosher airplane meal does contain meat.

S.H.I.E.,
All's Kosher is for most Jewish people is the very best parts of the cow, and how they care for the cows, with the utmost best care and feed. Alot of Jewish people wont eat anything at all if it's not Kosher! Didn't you see the show "The Hulk Hulgon's"......(The Wrestler) and his wife moved into a new neighborhood and she wanted to get to know the new neighbors a bit better, so she made up a bunch of cookies and her and the Hulk went door-to-door trying to get these people to take their cookies, and every single door they went to asked if they were Kosher Cookies or they would flat-out say "No Thank-You" we only eat Kosher.. The Hulk and his wife began to feel like these people just flat-out didn't like them! So, they began to ask question's to the next one's that said Kosher only. They wanted to know what the heck Kosher was??!!! So, they ended-up having a barbecue and had their favorite foods, plus had a Kosher Caterer come and bring all of thier new neighbors types of foods to. So, they could try both, if they wanted. I thought this was really nice of them to do such a generous act of kindess. They made lots of friends in their new neighborhood and had a new respect for Kosher foods to! I wouldn't mind living off of Kosher EVERYTHING as they do!! But, as the lady above me said, it isn't vegetarian at all, that I know of. It's all about how the cow is fed and cut and cared for. Or any meat they eat for that matter is what I got out of that show. Good Luck flying. I'd be more afraid of Terrorist, than what they have to eat, on that plane! Smile, just joking!

Either consume earlier than you go to the airport or purchase meals in the airport & devour it before you board or on the plane. I hardly ever consume on the plane. I just most likely purchase snacks to devour & consume an actual meal during my layover.

Not necessarily. It can be, but maybe not. Kosher/Kashrut doesn't mean "vegetarian".
