Sickle Cell Anemia (SS) is a genetic blood disease. That means it is passed on through parents with sickle cell trait (SN) or sickle cell disease (SS)
SS+ SS = SS:
SS+ SN = SS or SN
SN+SN = SS SN SN NN
(NN) is normal
This is not how the genes are but to simplify I use S for sickle N for normal SN is the trait
Symptoms can be any thing it is a blood disease so it affect the blood anywhere in the body.
It could cause strokes, seizure, and or affect the lungs or heart those are worst cases.

Sickle cell anemia is from the Blacks basically, those of black blood and carried by the female. The round blood cell that carries the oxygen to the vital organs loose their ability when they turn to a sickle shape, hence the "sickle shapes" name. they also with plug up into various parts of the body and create pain.
There is both a cure and control for this now, see your doctor first.

All yet b and c. A disease generic as Mediterranean anemia or thalassemia is present in Italy and Greece which isn't generic for mosquitoes, jungles and malaria, even though it incredibly is comparable to sickle cellular anemia. we actually do not understand what a vaccine would do, so announcing it incredibly is going to wipe out the disease is untimely. Sickle cellular anemia is a genetic subject, not a pandemic or micro organism. Gene scientific care would help afaik.
