Ok, for my science project, I got everything done, but on the research section, I'm not sure what to write. My project is about certain genres of songs will change the heartbeat and blood pressure, and I would like to learn more about this. All I have is that it does change your heartbeat and blood pressure and that classical music soothes your heart. Any help please?
[Sorry if the wording is all..messed up. I'm not so well when it comes to describing things]

It has effect on BP and is meditated via the CNS. Fast songs results in secretions which enhance muscular activity, via excitatory impulses; resulting in rise of BP. It can go so far in releasing of inhibitions that you can have no control over your body and thoughts (Euphoria).
Music increase sense of violence and physical aggressiveness e.g war drums frequency.
It has no soothing effect on heart and soul, only helping others gives real happiness;and praying too GOD.
I have yet to read a text book of cardiology which states that music sooths the heart.
Sad songs can cause heart attack, in those who have undergone some Mental trauma.
The above is an extract of my experience and is Satan's handiwork.

Fast music speeds up the heart rate. And slow music slows down the heart rate. Here are some articles about it:
