Waking reading here was 145. I think your reading is much too high. Are you taking insulin? How can all of us including me be so ignorant about our own diabetes? It's not as if this is some kind of superficial problem like a splinter. It's almost as if they are keeping us in the dark about how to manage even our own diets. A friend online here suggested I get in touch with my doctor or hospital about nutritional advice and support. This might be helpful for you too.

You report that your blood glucose levels are 350 to 400 but you don't say when you took that reading - was it immediately after eating, was it in the morning upon waking, was it 2 hours after eating? Did you take it again? Are you using the right test strips?
All of the above can impact your blood glucose levels.
If your blood glucose levels are 350 to 400 upon rising in the morning, you are in serious trouble and need to see you doctor immediately.
Read the book, "Diabetes Solutions Newly Revised and Updated by Richard Bernstein, M.D. This book saved my husband's life. I am not in any way affiliated with Dr. Bernstein - the only connection we have is that I read his book, implemented his program and saved my husbands life. He was taking 43 units of insulin a night when I read that book - he was 80 pounds overweight and had type 2 diabetes for over 20 years. He has lost all of the weight, has totally been off of insulin for nearly 5 years now and is a completely different man - he is the man I married - the man who loves and enjoys life. Read the book. You will never regret it.
And see your doctor SOON!

Your blood sugars are definitely too high, and are not being controlled properly. You should see a doctor because if you are not taking medicines then you need to be on some form of medication - perhaps even insulin injections. If you are on medications right now, then they need to be adjusted so that your sugars are controlled.
The reason why this is important is because high blood sugars can make you go into a coma acutely, especially with sugars over 500. Chronic high blood sugars can lead to problems with your eyes, kidneys and arteries, in fact, diabetes is a leading cause of blindness in the USA. So you should take your diabetes very seriously.
Bottom line- see a doctor.

Um Hum!! and you want to lose your toes, fingers and/or eyesight?? Get it down the best way possible!! Quit with the starchy foods, sugary fruits, and take your medications!! As it starts coming down, go for a walk. Work up to walking at least an hour a day every day!!
Any reading over 126 is doing damage to the capillaries and tiny nerve endings. The higher the number the more blood vessels and nerve endings are being destroyed.
I currently have a friend in end stage renal failure because he allowed his glucose to remain too high too long!!! I am the one who will comfort his grandchildren in the near soon when he dies!!!

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.
