I am a diabetic but that doesn't stop me from making all the treats I know my friends like from appetizers, salads, first courses, entrees and desserts.
There is always something there that I like and can eat. I serve the sauces separately and don't add extra butter. Diabetics can eat very well and munch their way through the crudites we just don't eat the dip, salads but a little oil & vinegar or lemon is just fine, first courses of some seafood perhaps, grilled, entres, a little meat or chicken or pasta + vegetables, desserts are not a problem as I don't like sweet but a little piece of hard cheese with a few grapes are lovely.
If I added all the salad dressings other people like or made the seafood in a rich sauce, or cooked the meat/chicken or pasta with rich breadings & and sauteed I couldn't eat them either. I can eat a little dessert, if I want, bong! there goes my sugar level up up and away.

Tennis or other racket ball or shuttlecock.
You can serve someone else be it in a practical or spiritual way - ie you can serve someone by doing the washing up.
